Claire and Emily spent the night, while their mother relived her wild youth at IU, during a weekend getaway to Bloomington. We got new jammies and coloring books... not that we needed anything else to be excited about! Mom got adventurous and set up a gingerbread house for all of us to decorate... it was very hard for the 3 of us to not eat the candy until the decorating was complete! I did the ol' look around and make sure no one is watching technique before popping some good yummies into my mouth. Emily tried to convince mommy that if you lick the candy first, it will stick better. And then there was Claire, who would not partake in any of the tom-foolery, and just ate the candy straight up.
