3 Year Check Up... Happy & Healthy!

"Mom-of-the-Year" is running about a month behind schedule with Dr. appts. I wasn't in any hurry seeing as though we have a kid who hasn't been sick since 18 mos old!!! That was until this past Sunday morning when she ran a 102 fever and had a croupy cough. We have been home the past 2 days, takin' it easy. She is on the mend and was a ROCK STAR at her doctor appointment today! Addie weighed in at 34 lb (75%) and measured 39 inches in height (80%). She was eager to share all of her talents with Dr. Boyce and left the office, giving him a hug. We love Dr. Boyce, but I'm really hoping to not see him for another year!

Amber and I rocked out Saturday night at the Kenny Chesney 2009 summer concert series. The opening acts included The Zach Brown Band, Miranda Lambert, Montgomery Gentry and Sugarland... all were awesome, but Kenny brought the house down on the final stop of his summer concert tour. I woke up this morning, still on a high from the night before. We have looked forward to this night for so long and it did not disappoint! Cowgirl Up!

Labor Day Weekend...

We traveled up to Sault Ste. Marie with the Raneks to visit Mom and Dad Reusser this past holiday weekend. We couldn't have asked for better weather or better company. Addie and Fallyn were in hog heaven between the snacks, the beach, the jet skis & boat, and the selction of Disney movies... what more could toddlers ask for!?!
