Gacie Jane Arrives...

Yes, Auntie Angie is SOOOOOOOOOOOO very excited! Gracie Jane arrived today, April 30th, at 2:44 pm. She weighed in at 8.1 lbs and is 22 inches long. Mandy was a trooper with 23+ hours of very intense labor, but everyone is resting up and doing well. Addie and I leave for Savannah on Saturday to visit and love on Little Miss Cuteness... she is stinkin' precious! I'll post pictures later.

Like Mother, Like Daughter...

It's a known fact that my mother LOVES Mexican food. She makes dad take us out at least once a week for her beloved chimichangas. She meets up with her best friend Ms. Rita... Margarita that is! Tonight she made a Mexican dish that required refried beans. I ate every scoop of the leftovers. Later on tonight I'll be singing "Beans, beans, the magical fruit..." You all know how this song ends!

A Shower for Amber...

Baby Boy Ranek will look sharp in this outfit.
Hurry, hurry, open the gift Amber!

World Travelers Return!

My Grandma and Grandpa Reusser have returned from their two and half month long vacation. They went all over the world and sent me postcards from a lot of different places. They brought me back a t-shirt and kangaroo from Australia. My favorite surprise is this fancy umbrella from Hong Kong... oh-la-la!

An Apple A Day...

Addie helped me polish off an apple this afternoon.

She has never been a big fruit fan.

Our first test run with apple slices was a huge success!

I love the Bucky-beaver noises she makes as she saws into the slice.

Spring Swimsuit Fashion Show...

Cherry Jubilee
Hawaiian Hottie

Mom pulled out all of my summer clothes, since warmer weather has FINALLY hit Indiana. She wanted to make sure the 1 piece bathing suits she bought at the end of last season were going to work. What can I say? I have a body built for the beach!

I left the house today...

feeling that I had forgot something.
What could it be? OH MY PANTS!

Gymboree 101...

Hey guys, I like this set-up!
Uncle Doug teaches Bella how to climb the ladder all by herself.
Down we go... wheeee!
Doug and Bella worked on mastering the ladder and slide the other afternoon. She was so funny. She would get to the top and dance before she went down the slide. I think she was pretty proud of her accomplishments! Too cute!

Miss Bella...

Bella came to visit us Thursday afternoon. We colored in our coloring books
and Bella applied "lipstick"
(She must watch her mommy get ready!)
Tune-up complete...
Everything under the hood looks gooood!

Thanks for "pimpin' my ride"... lets cruise!
Fashion show any one?
This DIVA wants part of the action!
Yummy stuff... Move over Rachel Ray.

Cousins Galore!

Zach, Bria & Addie
Yesterday I saw my cousins Zachary and Bria. Today Nathaniel came over for dinner. Am I the luckiest little cousin for what!?! Auntie Julie is expecting my newest cousin in early September, so I won't be the "baby" anymore.

I'm Lovin' It!

Today we visited the zoo. We met Julie, Zach and Bria for a morning full of fun. This trip was much different with little girl running every which way, she could hardly contain her excitement. Addie got a kick out of all the animals, but I think she enjoyed the company of her two older cousins the most! Her favorites still seem to be the Oceans and Safari exhibits.
I am having so much fun with my daughter this week! I don't think I could be a stay at home mom, but I love that being a teacher allows me so much quality time with my family. We have been very busy with friends, family, baseball, doctor appointments and shopping this week, but are having a great time being together!

Ocean Fun...

Zach was a very brave little boy...
petting sharks is good, safe fun for any kid, right?

Addie opted to keep her bitty nuggets dry!

Safari Adventure...

(Please read the following post as if Steve Irwin,
the Croc Hunter, were commentating.) I begin my journey as your guide into the great unknown.
As we reach this fork in the road, our adventure unfolds...

We snag a rare glimpse of a male tiger on the prowl.
Up the hill we come across a family of zebras.
Crikies! A storming herd of elephants.

Til' our next outback adventure, practice your monkey calls!

Bucket-O-Fun...

This here is my bucket of water... cheap entertainment if you ask me!

I like to go fishing with my rod and reel... dang thing is tangled up.

This look of disappointment is due to the fact that fish don't seem to be biting today.

We L-O-V-E spring! The other day we were outside all day long playing, gardening and golfing. Addie was content with her sandbox and water bucket on the deck. She played close to an hour with the fishing gear alone. We were wet, dirty and sweaty by the time we went indoors at 8:00pm, but we wouldn't have it any other way!

Back Home Again in Indiana...

Good people of the greater Indianapolis area, please let me be the first to welcome our newest resident, Auntie GiGi. She will be moving back to Indiana in two weeks and I can't wait! She is very cool... she even likes to play kitchen with me! Here I am telling her all about my Elmo sticker.

This is my cool new lid, from GiGi.

She keeps me on the fashion fast-track!

GiGi, Me (the adorable one in the middle) & GrMa Deb

Biker Babe...

Head out on the highway...
Lookin' for adventure, and whatever comes my way!

Yeah Spring!!!

Spring Break or BUST!!!
Who needs Florida when you have a sand box!?!
It's just as easy to eat and throw sand in Indiana!

A Trip to the Mall...

Meet Lenora
Mom met Kathy (aka Pricie) at the mall today. They were building a bear for one of their students. If you ask me, they had a little too much fun with this whole process. I of course wanted nothing to do with any of it! I was being quite the stinker.

Pricie creates the birth certificate... Happy Birthday Lenora Bear

Very sneaky mother! Placing the bear behind me for a photo opportunity... your trickery does not amuse me!
Next we hit Stride Rite. I made sure that employee earned her paycheck today! I needed new shoes and it was my first fitting with my orthotics. None of the REALLY cute shoes worked, don't they know I'm a fashion diva!?!
Ten pairs of shoes and ten buckets of tears later, this is what I ended up with. Mom said we would have to throw fashion out the door until my feet correct themselves. How do you think these pink high-tops are going to look with shorts this summer? Call the fashion police!

Side Note: Thank you Nana and Grampy Newton for my new shoes. They were my Easter gift from them. I tested my new kicks out and ran the halls of the mall... I'm lightning quick in them!
