Goggle Girl...

Most people think goggles are for swimming...
They are right, BUT
Did you know that they are a wonderful sleep mask?

And they are great for grocery shopping also!

Little girl is a tinsy bit excited about her new summer accessory! I was able to talk her out of not wearing them to bed. She was satisfied with hanging them on knob of her night stand.

Pampered Princess...

Friday at daycare, Miss Kathy painted my toenails... oh, la, la!

Saturday morning I got my "did" at CK Designs
Combing my locks...
Kathy asked me to look at my toes...
Defusing the curls...
I even got glitter sparklies sprayed in my hair!
Thank you Cathy Kirk for a wonderful beauty shop experience. I loved, being pampered and you were so good to me! What a way to start your weekend!!!

School's Out...

Friday we ended the school year with fun night out jammin' to ZannaDoo!

Swimming with Buddies...

Happy Birthday Doug...

Holy Cow are we really turning 32 this year!?!
Helping daddy blow out his candles.
Happy Birthday Doug, we love you so very much!

Memorial Day Weekend...

We spent the holiday weekend at Nana and Grampy's
Hip-Hippo Hooray for bubbles!
Mawing done on Maurizio's 747 specialty pizza
Mom of the Year... we are using this term very loosely these days,
forgot to pack me pajamas for the weekend.

Nana to the rescue with new ones!

I really enjoyed my new Minnie Mouse PJs!

I just kept on twirling and modeling for anyone who would watch!

Couch Potatoe...

Heart Art...

This sidewalk art pretty much sums up my heart's reaction each time Addie does something new and wonderful. She amazes me on a daily basis! The other day I painted a heart on the sidewalk and she painted all around it, in her words, "Making it gorgeous Mom." ("gorgeous" and "delicious" are her two favorite words to use these days.)

Happy Birthday Charlie!!!

We spent Saturday afternoon celebrating with the Ranek family. Can you believe that Charlie is turning 1!?! Little man and all of his buddies were running around and having a good ol' time. Check out Charlie's cool birthday cake... wow! Singing happy birthday and dippin' in to the sweet treats was the Reusser family's favorite part of the festivities. We love ya little man!

Put Me In Coach, I'm Ready to Play...

Daddy got out the old t-ball stand to show me how to swing like a pro... I'm a natural folks! I just need to choke up a little.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game...

Saturday we enjoyed an afternoon with friends at the ball park. Doug is playing in his "Peter Pan" league as I like to refer to it as... the boys who won't grow up! It was fun to hang out with Amber and Becky while the kiddos entertained themselves playing hide-n-seek and catch with their new mitts and baseballs. They also played in the rocks a lot... there is nothing like the free entertainment of collecting precious stones at the ball park! Doug took the mound after multiple injuries, aches and pains from the rest of the pitching staff. I think he was hoping to be Dennis Quade in the Rookie... better luck next time babe!

Strawberry Shortcake...

Saturday my dad gave me a start for yellow tomatoes. I was excited and told Addie we were starting a veggie garden when we got home... mind you it was going to be a 1 plant veggie garden. The next day she kept repeating that she wanted strawberries in her veggie garden, so of course Miss Strawberry Shortcake got her wish... we now have a berry patch as well!

Sidewalk Painting...

After church on Sunday, we decided to stay at home and enjoy some family time together. This weekend had been a whirlwind with an out-of-town wedding and a birthday party celebration. We just needed a chance to breathe. Addie enjoyed her new sidewalk painting kit that she received in her Easter basket and few weeks back... mommy and daddy enjoyed it too!
