Special Delivery...

What do we have here?
Looks like we have some fun stuff.
I know exactly how to wear all my new fashion assessories!
My sunglasses are upside down... I know this!
All the kids are wearing them this way... DAH!

Translation from Toddler to Standard English: "Thank you, thank you GrMa Deb. I loved opening my package full of girlie goodies. I especially enjoy these sunglasses. Don't you think I look like a fashionista? Oh-la-la!"

Bowling...

I'm helping Daddy enter the names... A-D-D-I-E
Go, Daddy, Go!
Thanks for the patience and help Mommy!
This final score clearly states that my mommy stinks at bowling. She even had bumpers to help and she still lost to a 1 year old! HAH!!!
We took Addie bowling this evening. This was her first experience. She wanted nothing to do with it at first. We don't think she liked all the noise. Once she warmed up to the sport she enjoyed rolling the 6 lb ball on the floor and waving "bye-bye ball" and clapping as it headed towards the pins.

Angie 87 (I DEMAND a recount!)
Addie 147 (Thanks for helping daddy!)

Hoppy, Hoppy Easter!

Wait a second, there's something in here!
Eggs-ellent Egg Hunting Skills... the bend and snap approach!
Happy Bunny!
We enjoyed a wonderful 3 day weekend with family and friends. Nana and Grampy arrived Friday afternoon and boy was Addie happy to see them! They literally did the bunny hop, until they couldn't hop no more. We ate lunch out and shopped all day Saturday before attending church that evening. The service was a wonderful and promising reminder that Jesus Christ died on a cross, but lives in each of our hearts. The music performances were awesome! Today we slept in, had a huge lunch and watched our little bunny hunt eggs. We are so blessed... Happy Easter to you and your family!

A Good Friday Indeed!

We started the day off with the neighborhood egg hunt. I was the cutest little bunny there!
Look what I found!
We played and had lunch at the mall with all of our buddies!
We visited the job site. Daddy's sign arrived...
back off ladies the house is available, not him!

Week in Review...

Gotta love those 60 degree afternoons. We opened up the sandbox and grilled out. Addie played for close to an hour outside on Thursday. Family walks are a big hit in the new red wagon!
We have upgraded from the pack-n-play to a princess fairy sleeping tent, courtesy of GiGi Newton. Addie went right to sleep with no playing or messing around. She was so stinking cute this morning when she popped her head out of the tent and said "Mama" before crawling up in bed with me for another 30 minutes.
Nana got 2 gold fish, Goldie and Gertie. One is for Addie and the other is for Gracie. Addie loves to watch them and feed them. "Gold Fish" was a very popular phrase to repeat this weekend!
Clippety-clop, clippety-clop, I love to ride the pony. Addie always enjoys her rides on her pretty pony. Notice she is sporting pig-tails. This is a first time for the new do, and she left them in all day. I teared up, after putting them in. I turned her around to face me, and I realized that I was looking into the face of little girl, not a baby. Doesn't she look soooooo grown up?
Uncle Dean is visiting from Colorado this week. He brought GiGi Tovey up to spend the day with us. Dean is always a hoot. He and Grandma both looked so good. It's always a treat when we can all get together!

Trim-It-Up Application...

My Uncle Gordie owns a lawn & home improvement business, Trim-It-Up. Maybe I can join his painting crew. (Like the free plug Gordie? I figure it's good for one lawn mowing service... wink, wink.)

Parental Side Note: Bizarre behavior, right? She started doing this a couple of days ago... same place, same materials in hand. She gets started "painting" the doorway and starts talking and singing all the while.

Auntie Gigi Turns the BIG 3-0...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIGI!!! Um... Can you say DORKS!?!
Mom and Gigi hit Chicago in elementary school.

Well the friendship lasted, despite the big bangs and the bad fashion choices... here they are again at their 10 year high school class reunion.

Mom and Gigi have been involved in each other's most special days and celebrations for the past 20+ years!!!

Cheers to you Auntie Gigi!!!

Even if you are an "Old Woman"

I can't wait for you and Mark to move back home, even if it is only for a year. There are only good times ahead of us! XOXO - Addie (Mom and Dad send their regards also)
