The Newton's Get Together...

All of our aunts, uncles, cousins and grandmother came over for a cookout to visit with Mandy and love on Gracie while they were in town. We ate REALLY well, fished, played pool, laughed a lot and enjoyed each other's company.

"Ho-ed MuMu Please"

Love you baby
Tickle Your Toes
As I bathed Addie one night, we were watching Gracie also. She asked over and over to "Ho-ed MuMu Please." How could I say no when she was using such good manners? It only lasted a couple of minutes, but she loved being the big girl holding the baby. Addie helped us pick up pacies, carry bottles and play with the baby throughout our visit. She was really in to Gracie and giving her lots of love and attention.

A Fish Story...

Most men tell stories of gi-normous fish they caught...
Auntie Kay-Kay wanted proof of her BIG catch - WOWZERS!!!
And folks, that's why you'll find me swimming in the safety of my "pool" instead of in Nana and Grampy's lake behind their home. We didn't know JAWS was lurking underwater!

Two of My Favorite People...

I love you Gracie Jane (aka MuMu)
Auntie Kay-Kay I LOVE my Princess book... don't you think I'm smart?

Fallyn's Swim Party...

Good Times!
We have really enjoyed our summer play dates!

Let the Swimming Begin!

Today was Addie's first official swim lesson with Cassie. With her floaties, she looks like she should be in a water aerobics class with Ethel and Gladys, doing the bicycle kick!

Our goal this summer is for Addie to feel really comfortable with the pool... practice kicking, blowing bubbles and jumping in! Thanks Cassie for a fun afternoon, we will see you on Thursday!

kick, kick, kick

Sidewalk Chalk...

Some people just make the world a more beautiful place!

Lucky Number Seven...

Monday, Doug and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. I couldn't ask to be married to a better man. Doug is a wonderful husband, friend and father. He treats Addie and I so well, we couldn't ask for a nicer, funnier guy to be a part of our lives. Thanks for always taking care of us and working so hard to put family first! Doug and I spent our anniversary evening at the Melting Pot... yum! Thanks Cassie for babysitting and allowing us an enjoyable evening out on the town.

99 Red Balloons...

OK, so maybe it's only two...
but it's still fun to sing the song and run around the house!

Monday Morning Outtings...

Amy and I have been taking our girls to toddler time at the Fishers Public Library and out to lunch each Monday morning this summer. We decided today was our last trip. Our three bug-a-boos are more interested in running around, not listening to the teacher, screaming and doing what they want as long as it's not what the other classmates are doing. I'm pretty sure that if they could tell us, their favorite part of the school day would be recess. Here they are enjoying the Toddler Zone at Chick-Fil-A where it's totally appropriate to run, jump and scream! Go have fun girls!!!

Breakfast With Mickey...

Pancake batter $2.99
Blueberries $3.99
Disney breakfast without actually paying for Disney... PRICELESS!
We started off our day with homemade blueberry pancakes. When Little Miss wanted a third helping, yes third, we got creative. Doug suggested Mickey Mouse since the man with the big ears has become Addie's new infatuation!

Our Neglected Child...

Tucker Eugene

Noblesville Street Fest...

Games Galore... I win 5 tickets!
Toddler version of PLINKO... I win 5 more tickets!
I traded in my tickets for these super cool shades.
I am totally a ROCKSTAR!!!

The Warners
The Reussers... glistening in the heat!

Last night we met the Warners for a fun, but VERY HOT evening on the Noblesville town square for games, food and live music. Our friend Aaron Starr and his Talk to Tucker team, set up a really cute kids carnival chalked full of games and prizes. We found a shady spot and enjoyed some music and dinner, before heading back to the Warners for a night of fun!

Sandbox Fun...

Some still shots to suffice...

Tu-Tu Cute...

Some mornings are spent doing nothing but being silly. The poor child has no choice but to make-believe, because all of her goodies are stashed away in a POD, while the house is on the market! Addie LOVES to dress up. We have added several items to her collection... thank you Target $1 isle! Her favorite is dressing up as a little ballerina. If you are familiar with Olivia by Ian Falconer, she reminds me of Olivia visiting her favorite picture at the museum. Enjoy this little snip-it!

Trip to the Zoo With Fallyn & Charlie...

The Crew: Charlie, Fallyn & Addie
Oh Mr. Rhino, come give me a kiss
Here kitty, kitty!
Oh boy Fallyn, ELEPHANTS!
Can I swim too?
Amber called early this morning and we were off to the zoo! The majority of animals were out and about before the heat wave hit. We missed our usual favorites, giraffe feeding and elephant bath, but the elephants paid us back by swimming in the pool for us! We finished off the day with lunch and heading to the aquarium to enjoy the fishies, penguins and air conditioning!

National Geographic Wanna-be...

I swear... sometimes my mother is a big ol' dork. She shoots her camera at anything that will give her the time of day. Since I am her worst subject and refuse to look at her, let alone smile for the camera, she decided to take some photos of other subjects today. They all posed quite nicely!

Off to the Park...

Bella MUST be one of Addie's BFF, because trust me,
she doesn't share her wagon with just any toddler!
Swings... weeee!
