Is It Tuesday Yet??? The Count Down Is On!!!
OK, I am REALLY over this empty house... I NEED MY FAMILY!!! I don't have any more chores, errands or commitments to keep me occupied. I miss them, something awful! Safe travels tomorrow on your way home and I can't wait to love and hug on all of you. Addie, put your red sparkly shoes, click your heels and repeat after mommy, "There's no place like home. There's no place like home. There's no place like home."

Off to Michigan...
Kenny Chesney's song says it best... "There goes my life, my everything." Doug, Addie, Tucker and my niece & God child Bria packed up Friday and headed off to Michigan to visit GrMa and GrPa Reusser. If the half hour of playing together before they left was any indication of how the next couple of days would pan out, we have two very happy, giggly, entertaining princesses! It took just at 15 minutes for me to call and make sure they were OK and for me to tell them that I missed them terribly. Yeah I've gotten a lot done and have really enjoyed my weekend, but the house is way too empty and way too quiet. What can I say, I love being a mom and a wife. My mom, sister and neighbor keep calling and checking in on me... I'm doing just fine and dandy!
Special Delivery from GrMa Deb...
GrMa Deb sent me a BUNCH of treats for Halloween... barrettes, bubble bath, pumpkin hat and of course fake vampire fangs! I had sooo much fun pulling each item out of my special delivery package, I just don't know which is my favorite, it was all so great!
Thanks GrMa Deb - Hugs & Kisses From Addie Leigh

And They're Off...
Around, and around and around they go. Where they stop...
oh wait a second, they didn't stop!
You are witnessing 1 lap of about 20 that were ran this morning...
hilarious little ones doing their "fun run"!
Slumber Party!!!
Saturday night, Claire and Emily came over to spend the night with Addie! We all had such a good time giggling, running and playing together... we all, adults included, slept very soundly, because we worn each other out. Sunday morning the little ones energized their bodies at breakfast for another round of silliness! Amy and "Suck" (Addie can't quite say Scott, so this is her substitute... appropriate if you ask me... wink, wink) we hope you enjoyed your night out, because we certainly enjoyed our BIG night in! Your little biddies are welcome at our home anytime.

Lapse in Blog Posts...
If you have noticed a lapse in blog posts, it's because I have had absolutely no interest in being in front of my computer... it's kind of exhilarating actually! It's because I have become obsessed with reading my new book that I began on Tuesday... it's Thursday and I've already read 300 pages. The book is the first in a series of 4, soon to be 5, by Stephanie Meyer, entitled Twilight. I love, love, love this book! It is of a genre that I never imagined I would enjoy reading, but it is very passionately written, and I'm pretty sure that I'm in love with a vampire!
Maybe I'm excited, because it's not a Dr. Seuss board book or a Curious George beginning reader. I think I've reached a point that my bedtime prayer sometimes falls into the same rhythm as Good Night Moon!
Earlier this week I taught a lesson on book recommendations to my students. They loved sharing their favorite books with the class and creating posts for others to read. I used to read ALL the time BA (before Addie), my adult reading time has slowed in recent PA (post Addie) years. I have however read some wonderful books that range from humorous to romantic to spiritual. Reading each of these books have been a treasure and I wanted to share them with you. Happy Reading!
These books are my MUST READS:
1. Water for Elephants
2. Remember Me?
3. Snow Flower and the Secret Fan
4. Quiet Strength
5. Twilight
6. A Painted House
7. Seaglass
8. A New Earth
9. Peter and the Starcatchers
10. Undomesticated Goddess

Come And Knock On Our Door...
What about this 3's Company?
GrPa & GrMa Reusser are in town to visit Natalie. They came over and played all afternoon with me. I showed them all of my toys and tricks. I get to have a slumber party with them on Friday... yipee!!!
Poets & Pirates Concert Tour...
(Angie, Jana, Abby & Amber)
My Boyfriends, Keith & Kenny... HOT, HOT, HOT!!!
Well it was a BIG night out for this group of baby mamas. Jana, Abby and Amber joined me for my birthday celebration at the Kenny Chesney Poets and Pirates Concert Tour. We danced, sang and partied the night away. Both Keith and Kenny (Yes, we are on a first name basis!) are both true entertainers... fun, energetic and easy on the eyes! Kenny took the stage at 8:00 and didn't leave the stage until midnight... 4 hours of straight entertainment from the Energizer Bunny, he kept going, and going and going! He played all of his greatest songs and branched out to serenade the audience with hits from The Eagles, Tom Petty and Kid Rock, just to mention a few. The night ended on the highest note of all with "She Thinks My Tracker's Sexy!" Yea-Ha... Cowgirl Up!
Happy Birthday Bella Raye!!!
Birthday Girl Bella!!!
Kiddies and Cupcakes... Oh Boy!
Bella is now equipped to clean up after her party guests
Saturday morning we gathered with all of our friends to celebrate Bella's 2nd birthday! As always, Bella's mommy and daddy put on quite the party... full of pizza, cupcakes, party favors and presents. Bella got some great gifts. I decided to be a good friend and test them all out for her as she opened them. Her MagnaDoodle and dress-up clothes all work perfectly!

Belated Birthday x3...
Three times in one week, I've scored birthday loot! Thanks Abby, Ella & Cole for my "Fancy Nancy" Wings... I've worn them ALL afternoon and am refusing to take them off. We will see what happens at bedtime tonight, my mother is trying to convince me that they are a strangulation hazard in the crib... this is coming from the same woman who claims that too much TV will hurt my eyes and stunt my growth! I personally think she is becoming her mother!

Thursday evening we ventured down to the south side to take dinner and baby gifts to the Shavers. Addie had a BLAST, with a capital B, playing with her cousins! They all had so much fun running around, playing and being silly (not-so)-little stinkers. Addie got presents galore... Play-doh + accessories and a new Disney Princess blanket.
Baby Natalie was precious as could be and so good, not even a peep the while we were there. I got my baby fix, loving our new bitty little bundle. Julie looked like a champ... Seriously woman, you look awesome! We can't wait to play again!
Belated Birthday...

Addie and I met up with Amber, Fallyn and Charlie on Wednesday for dinner at Chick-fil-A. We celebrated Addie's birthday since both girls were under-the-weather back in August. We had lots of giggles and good times. Thanks for great gifts... Glad we could get together!
