Wine-O's...

GrPa Reusser washes and prepares the bottles.
He carefully fills each bottle with "Reusser Riesling."

Doesn't Mommy look stunning in her "wine" colored apron?

I am drunk with excitement over the whole process.

Good thing my mommy is the DD for this stroller!

Nerd Alert...

My mom is a self-proclaimed N-E-R-D! She and Grandma Reusser put together a 1,000 piece puzzle in less than 48 hours for an upcoming lesson she is teaching in class. She will use any excuse in the book to be a nerd. She may be creative, but this gene pool is starting to scare me!

Fun In The Sun...

This sand box is just a tinsy bit bigger than mine back in Indiana! The rocks here are good eatin', but mommy isn't allowing any of that nonsense!

Daddy takes on Grandpa in horseshoes. Grandpa is good, he is what we call a "Ringer!"

Mommy said the water was warm enough for me to splash around in for a little bit at least! She relaxed, read her book and was the official lifeguard on-duty.

Chi-Town...

My wonderful husband funded an all expense-paid trip to Chicago for my 30th birthday!
Amy, Alli and I hit the town on Saturday. We strolled through Millennium Park in the morning. We browsed boutiques and had lunch in Lincoln Park. The rest of our afternoon was spent shopping along Michigan Avenue.
Saturday evening we met up with Katherine and went out for a wonderful Italian dinner! I ate and drank way too much, but when you're with girlfriends, calories don't count... right?
We topped off the night with an 8:00 showing of WICKED. It was awesome! I can't wait to imitate Ga-Linda... her character was a RIOT! The play was so clever and witty. Bravo, Bravo!

Sand Box Fun...

"I got sand in my pants, and I'm cute. Yes, I'm cute..."

Imagine Addie singing this little tune as she plays in her sand box. It might make me a freak-of-nature mom, but I do commentary for my baby girl all the time. Sometimes I even crack the both of us up!

Uh-O Spaghetti-O...

Miss Messy Spaghetti
We recently had a spaghetti dinner. Boy, did little girl L-O-V-E it! She loved it so much she decided to put it in her hair, in her ears and up her nose! It took me two baths that night to get her all cleaned up. What a stinker!

Alive and Well...

I feel that I should be typing this from a confession booth at church... "Forgive me, for it has been 2 weeks since my last blog post."

Once I get little girl to bed tonight I hope to start posting some new photos and commentary. Stay tuned, but for now... "That's All Folks!"

My Fix...

Libby, Grandma & Mommy
Libby & Big Sister Alex

I have recently been in blog detox. I haven't been able to get my daily fix, because I have been so darn busy with the start of school. It's a relaxing Sunday morning. Mom and Dad are in town. Recap of the weekend:
Saturday Morning: I went to visit Sarah and Jason at the hospital. Miss Elizabeth Catherine Gray was born August 17th at 1:58am. She tipped the scales at 9 lbs 4oz!!! Congratulations Gray family!
Saturday Evening: Katie Kenworthy hosted a party at our house. As she coined it "I'm here to sling some clothes!" And sling she did. Addie has some pretty adorable tights and outfits coming her way! Everything was too cute and of course I wanted to purchase one of each item for my baby girl, but Doug would have none of that.
Hopefully I will get some new pictures taken today and will post them randomly throughout the week. We are off to Miss Fallyn's big 1 year birthday party this afternoon... good times!

Back to School... Boo, Hoo, Hoo

Mommy & Me
Daycare is EXHAUSTING!!!
Today, mommy had to return to her teaching job. This isn't all bad news. Sure, I'll miss our daily walks, swims and book reads, but I get to spend all day with Miss Kathy and my buddies at daycare. Mommy picked me up this afternoon and I helped her pick up some items for her classroom. After eating a real good dinner with mom and dad, I went swimming with my neighbor friends, Debbie, Cassie & Bob.

Dance, Baby Dance...

Do you see the utter delight in my smile? It is so much fun annoying mommy & daddy. I open the card and it plays music... over, and over and over. I have bounced and giggled over this card for hours now. Mom says it's pretty cheap entertainment and it's the closest thing to an IPod I can have at my age!

Auntie Gigi's Pool Party...

Angie, Addie, Gina, Desiree & Kendall
Miss Sophie
Dear Auntie GiGi & Grandma Deb -
Thank you so much for my birthday gifts. GiGi, I love my new Crocs, you are definitely mommy's most fashion forward friend! Grandma Deb, thanks for the money and Pooh bubbles. I loved my musical birthday card and played it all the way home, driving my mommy nuts! She took it away when I started eating it... I guess paper isn't one of the 4 basic food groups.
XOXO - Addie Leigh

Sugar High...

Yes, quickly sing the silly traditional song!
There seems to be bits of colored sugar on top.
Sampling the bits of colored sugar 1 by 1.
Get your own daddy, I'm not sharing!
I need a sippy cup of milk to wash this good stuff down...
I LOVE CUPCAKES!

The Celebration Continues Day 2...

My mommy and daddy are party animals! They threw me a second party on Sunday with all of my little peeps. A girl could get used to this royal treatment... maybe that's why they call me princess!
Bows! Bows! Bows! Forget the toys, I love the bows!
At the end of 2 days of birthday parties, I got pretty good at opening gifts. Here I have my new drum set. There's going to be lots of noisy fun going on in the Reusser household!
