Thank You Easter Bunny!!!

We had a fantastic afternoon celebrating Easter as a family. We got Addie some new toys and a big girl bike, that she played with all afternoon. We hunted for eggs and blew bubbles outside. And we made Doug's day by hard boiling eggs and decorating them.

Easter Celebrations...

Brunch at the Prairie View clubhouse
All dolled up heading off to church

Today was an absolutely beautiful Easter Sunday. We enjoyed Sunday service and brunch with the Ranek family, before coming home for an afternoon full of family fun.

Fun on the Road...

Little girl was such a great traveler. We stopped outside of Knoxville on our way home and enjoyed a swim in the pool and a dip in the hot tub.

Gifts Galore...

Gracie found out very quickly that grand kids are spoiled rotten in this family! Books, toys, movies... enjoy them all baby girl! We love you so much. We had a good time celebrating your special day with you!

Happy Birthday Gracie Jane!

Look who's turning 1
Oh, this is good stuff folks!
Manners, who needs manners?
I can't get enough of this cupcake.
I only share my cupcakes with those that I truly love.
You should feel VERY special Uncle Jesse!

Painting with Professor Payne...

Wednesday morning I had a private art lesson with Uncle Jesse. He knows how much I love to color and paint. He created the coolest picture with me filled with everything that I love and enjoy... Tucker, cupcakes, birds. I can't wait to learn more from him as I grow up.

Snuggle Time...

After bathing the girls, we snuggled in for a family movie night!

Splish Splash...

Hilton Head...

WHO IS THIS MAN?!?!
Tuesday was chilly. It seemed the Indiana weather was trying to follow us, so we decided to head to Hilton Head to shop and play with the Warners. I almost didn't recognize Scott, because his face was as smooth as a baby's butt... no facial hair! I had to take a picture for Doug, so he could see his "boyfriend's" new look!

Adventure Day...

After visiting the Wildlife Refuge we ate dinner at Uncle Bubba's. For those of you who are Paula Dean fans, this is her brother's restaurant on the way out to Tybee Island. The food is worth the wait and you have to order the Grilled Oysters and the Shrimp & Grits. The Shrimp & Grits is literally is a heart attack in a bowl... we didn't allow Grampy to order this dish!

Love This Gal!

Birthday Training 101...

While shopping downtown in Savannah, Auntie Kay-Kay treated mommy and me to our favorite... cupcakes! I needed to demonstrate proper cupcake etiquette to Gracie Jane for her upcoming 1st birthday celebration. I felt it was my duty to show her exactly how to handle this little bit of heaven on earth.

Play Time...

Addie and Gracie spent a good portion of each morning just playing together. Addie enjoyed all of the toys, while Gracie kept finding ways to pull on her cousin's boingy curls. The girls were so sweet together, it just melted my heart to see them interact. Addie certainly loves her little cousin!

Tybee Island...

We spent out first day of vacation at the beach... shelling, exploring the tides pools, walking the beach and playing in the sand. We always enjoy our trek out to the island!

Spring Break 2009... Savannah or BUST!

Nana is all smiles after arriving in Savannah.
She got a good dose of snuggle time with her two sweeties!
